Ces accusations d\u00e9coulent de son article publi\u00e9 le 25 mars 2026 par Al Araby Al Jadeed au sujet des cons\u00e9quences de l\u2019incarc\u00e9ration inique sur la stabilit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00c9tat, ainsi que d\u2019une publication sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux, du 29 mars, abordant les conditions de d\u00e9tention en \u00c9gypte. Depuis sa lib\u00e9ration en ao\u00fbt 2023, apr\u00e8s plus d\u2019une d\u00e9cennie pass\u00e9e en d\u00e9tention arbitraire \u00e0 titre de sanction pour ses activit\u00e9s militantes et son r\u00f4le dans la R\u00e9volution du 25 janvier 2011, le parquet a ouvert sept enqu\u00eates \u00e0 son encontre, pour le punir d\u2019avoir publi\u00e9 des contenus critiques sur Internet. S\u2019il est d\u00e9clar\u00e9 coupable, il encourt cinq ans de prison.
